It’s imperative to continue receiving support following a crisis. If you have recently been seen at the emergency department or were hospitalized as a result of a mental health emergency, they will want you to be established with a therapist for ongoing counseling.
Crisis Hotlines are available 24/7 for immediate same-day support. For ongoing, pre-scheduled support, it is recommended that you establish with someone who can provide professional counseling services.
Whether you choose to receive services with me or with another provider, I recommend looking for someone who will be a good fit by searching Psychology Today.
